The Karval Community Alliance Board of Directors met with communitymembers on April 20, 2007.  Carl Stogsdill called the meeting to order.

The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read.  No treasurer's report was given.

Carl Stogsdill reported that as of this date we have 12 registrants for the Mountain Plover Festival.

Cherry Stogsdill volunteered to help at the registration desk.

We then discussed what we would charge if people just wanted to go for one day only.  Vernon Stone made motion that we charge $40 for Saturday and $35 for Sunday which would include meals for that day.  If they just wanted to go on the tour, the cost would be $25.  Russell Davis seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

DOW is responsible to se tthe tours - when and where.  Ken and Seth will do the education session.

We then discussed what price to put on the hats and t-shirts.  It was decided that we would sell them for $12.00 each.

We will have a drawing for door prizes at the chuck wagon dinner.

Steve Bailey is to let Patrick Leonard know that we will need ice.  Burton Vickers will bring some straw bales to sit on for the chuck wagon.

Carl and Cherry have drafted an evaluation form for all participants to fill out.

The Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, May 2, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. for a wrap-up of the Festival events.
